آدامس نوعی جویدنی مصنوعی است که برای تازه کردن دهان یا بوبری یا سرگرمی به کار میرود. ماده اصلی آدامس صمغ پایه مصنوعی و یا صمغ طبیعی است و بر اساس نوع آن سایر مواد از جمله شکر و گلوگز مایع و یا شیرین کننده ها و مواد افزودنی مجاز، تحت شرایط بهداشتی به نسبت های مشخص، به آن افزوده می شود.
